This evening tour takes you to two of Bangkok’s most impressive temples and includes a stroll through Chinatown to experience local nightlife. An English-speaking guide provides commentary as you explore these iconic sites.
4:30 pm – Meet your guide at the designated meeting point, Tah Chang Pier, to begin the tour. Look for your guide holding a sign.
4:50 pm – Walk down Maha Rat Road with your guide to warm up and stretch your legs before visiting the temples.
5:15 pm – Arrive at Wat Pho, also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. Spend 45 minutes exploring the temple complex.
6:00 pm – Take a short boat ride across the Chao Phraya River to Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn. Spend 60 minutes visiting the prangs and taking in sunset views.
7:00 pm – Cruise back across the river and take a tuk-tuk to Bangkok’s Chinatown neighborhood.
7:30 pm – Enjoy free time exploring Chinatown’s bustling Yaowarat Road, including street food and market shopping.
8:30 pm – End of tour in Chinatown. Guests are responsible for own transportation back to hotels.
Dress Code: Shoulders, midriffs, and legs must be covered upon entering temple grounds. Please come prepared with a sarong or sweater.
