Khao Yai National Park Safari, the park covers an area of 2,168 square kilometers, includes evergreen forests and grasslands. Its altitude mostly ranges from 400 to 1000 m above sea level. There are 3,000 species of plants, 320 species of birds and 67 species of mammals, including Asiatic black bears, Asian elephants, gaur, tigers, gibbons, Indian sambar deer, Indian muntjac, dholes, and wild pigs.

The entire area is crisscrossed by over 50 Km of hiking trails, ranging in length from one and a half to eight kilometers. There are also three wildlife-watching towers in the park.

There are in addition many waterfalls, the tallest and most spectacular of those is Haew Narok at 80 meters and Haew Suwat made famous from the film “The Beach”. In 1984 the park was made an ASEAN Heritage Park, and on July 14, 2005, the park together with other parks in the Dong Phaya Yen mountains was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the name Dong Phaya Yen–Khao Yai Forest Complex. Itinerary

“06.30 AM – 06.45 AM: Departure and activities”  Pickup from your hotel in bangkok and departure to Khao Yai National Park to visit at first the local morning market and start Khao Yai National Park Safari. We move rigth after to enjoy Ox-cart riding on the country side of the Natural Park to enter the World Heritage paradise and to enjoy also trekking in the forests to arrive to the famous Heaw Narok Waterfalls to admire the unique landscape. About 1.30 Pm we will visit a local restaurant to sit for a relaxing and nice Thai style buffet to enjoy our lunch. After we will excite you with a wild Elephant riding (30 min.) through the beauty on the Park to observe also the vast amount of animal species living in the area.

“5.00 PM – 6.00 PM: Transportation ‘ Back to Bangkok organizing your transfer back to your Hotel.
