Emerald Pool Krabi and how to get there

The Emerald Pool along with the Hot Springs is approximately 15 minutes’ drive from one another. Using your own transportation, you can take street n. 4 south driving until Klong Thom. Afterward, you will have to turn off to the 4038 street. Follow now the signs from here.

Once you are at the entrance you will have two options, the long walk or the brief walk into the Pools. The long walk is 1,400 meters and also a raised concrete route that’s been constructed through the rain forests. It is a very pretty stroll beyond rivers and ponds.

Instead, the fastest route is just 800 meters but the track is quite filthy. I suggest taking the path in and the route that is brief out. Once in the Pool be quite careful about the slippery stones all around.

Krabi hot spring

They are actually a few minutes walks from the entrance, very easy to reach. The natural setting is really lovely. Small but a really fun place to visit.

Blue Pool Krabi

There’s also a Blue Pool nearby but it is not obviously signposted. Stick to the path from the green Pool to get a further 600m for it. You may pass a little shrine. It is certainly worth the additional walk as it is a beautiful Pool compared to the Emerald Pool.
