• Wat Phra Singh is a very important Buddhist monastery as well as the temple, located on the west side of Chiang Mai. It was founded in the 14th century, it houses two vary famous medieval Buddha statues.
• Wat Chedi Luang is an impressive actually ruined temple located in the center of Chiang Mai old town. This temple is dated on the 14th and 15th centuries.
• Wat Chiang Man. It’s constructions begun in 1306, Wat Chiang Man is now recognized as the oldest temple in Chiang Mai. This temple became so famous because it enshrines the Crystal Buddha, one of the greatest treasures in Thailand, as well as other important Buddha images.
• Wat Suan Dok is also known as Wat Buppharam. a Buddhist temple which is a Royal Temple of the Third Class.
