From Koh Chang to Pattaya
If you’re searching for a quieter Island and more scenic destination in Thailand, Koh Chang is a popular location to visit. After Koh Chang and during your holiday you will need to move from Koh Chang to Pattaya or vice-versa, so let’s see how to do it at best!
This large Island is home to the Mu KO Chang National Park, fantastic beaches, elephant trekking, and waterfalls, providing the touristy Pattaya with quite a different experience.
But Pattaya’s resort town has always been popular with Thai people and tourists, providing a quick and easy escape from the capital’s noise.
It’s known for its wide range of attractions; Pattaya once attracted a generally younger crowd, but with so much to see and do. It is now becoming more of a family-friendly destination with a zoo, Water Park, tropical gardens, go-karting, beaches, and cultural sites.
The two islands are worth a visit and will guide you in this article on how to get to the two islands without any hassle.
Pattaya to Koh Chang taxi
There are many taxi operating companies in Pattaya, but one of those reputable tour companies is Glassflower.
This company offers private cars and VIP vans, which will pick you up from any Pattaya hotel and drive you to the ferry terminal.
By selecting this route, you’ll get to ride relatively comfortably from Pattaya for the duration of the trip, a drive that should take about 4 hours.
Another bonus is that you’re paying for the entire vehicle, so you’re not going to share with people you don’t know, and you’re not going to have to stop to pick up passengers.
- The biggest disadvantage, of course, is the cost, with a 9-passenger van costing more than a private car.
- If you’re traveling in a group, though, the 9-passenger van might be a good option as you’re going to split the cost between you all.
Glassflower will take you to Ao Thammachat Pier, the location of Ferry Koh Chang.
